Speech-Language Therapy :
Speech-language therapy sessions are conducted at an established length and frequency, appropriate for your child’s specific needs. Sessions are play-based, motivating, and individualized towards your child's interests. This ensures consistent motivation while working on communication goals. Consistent dialogue with parents ensures understanding and carryover from individual sessions to home and school contexts.
Consultations:
Initial consultations include a review of background information, direct conversation with parents/caregivers, and a meet-and-greet with parent and child. Consulations are an opportunity to observe your child's specific needs so that recommendations can be made regarding next steps, including an evaluation process and therapy program.
Evaluations:
Evaluations include both informal observation and formal test assessment. A written report is provided, summarizing evaluation results. A feedback meeting is scheduled to review the results of the assessment and discuss recommendations.
Social groups:
Groups for preschool age and toddler age children build play, social, and language skills in an interactive group. Enrollment for fall social groups is now open!
